Activist
My political career began at Phillips Academy in Andover. I ran for Senior Representative and ran away with that election after a controversial speech in Cochran Chapel. I have not run for anything since, so that makes me one-for-one. I have, however, become deeply involved in politics, and have worked on several campaigns and for legislators and candidates alike who sought, above all else, the ability to help people.
I have managed campaigns, directed field operations, worked on press in a statewide race, and have a good working knowledge of how to get things done. I worked as a Legislative Aide at the State House and as a Press Officer for the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs. I have won and I have lost, but I have always worked for candidates and legislators that I believe in. More recently, I helped found the Cambodian and Community Political Action Committee to help a marginalized community assert its political voice. I serve as the Secretary on its Board of Directors.
