Poems

I began writing earnestly when I was eighteen.  I have had the privilege of having some fine poets as mentors: Jonathan Fink, Shawn Sturgeon, Cecilia Woloch, Jonathan Aaron and Natasha Trethewey.

I was the 2005 Grace Abernethy Scholar in Creative Writing at Emory University.  After years of practicing writing outside the classroom, I settled down at Emerson College, where I earned a B.FA. in Writing, Literature and Publishing.  My thesis was awarded High Honors.

My poems have appeared in Alloy, the Blue Collar Review, and the Lullwater Review. I will post some shortly.
